For Matthew

From: Katie

Question:
Have you ever written with your brother Sam? Have you ever given any thought to collaborating with him on an upcoming song or CD?

Matthew:
Katie-
I HAVE written extensively with Sam- about 10 songs or so- for H is Orange. I got a little frustrated though in that Sam is really talented and what I wanted to do was help him write THE hit song for his band but elements outside of Sam but within the band seemed to think they can break without a hit song. Maybe...but I doubt it. So I kinda started focusing on my projects- but I'm always open. I did collaborate on Sam's H is Orange "Telepathetic" CD- that's me playing the bass on all tracks.

Question:
How is your side project with RED37 going? We hear the music is great! Will a RED37 CD ever be offered?

Matthew:
Julie-
RED37 is going great... the entire album's finished- produced by Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Incubus, Live) and recorded in just 4 days at famous Sound City in LA....we're just finishing the mastering (final EQ and sequence) with Stephen Marcussen in Hollywood (EQ'd NELSON's Life, BH, Silence, Imaginator CDs- as well as most of the hit records you hear today), we're deciding on a band logo, picking our pictures from our recent photo shoot with photographer Dan Peterson, doing a website, and I just wrote our biography. Our package will be ready very shortly and we'll be seeking a major label deal. And we're rehearsing and planning on playing out in LA again very soon- we'd like to play at House of Blues Hollywood a lot opening for known bands and generate a buzz. It's so much fun. And yes, I hope that everyone in the world eventually has a RED37 cd!

For Gunnar

Question:
If you could turn back time, would you change anything?

Gunnar:
Yes. I would have invested heavily in Krispy Kreme's IPO that rainy day in November two years ago, like I told all of my advisors I should. I would have been right. Seriously though... it's said that everything happens for a reason... ok. But I certainly would have handled myself differently at times so as to not hurt others, or myself for that matter. Hindsight is 20/20... but I must say for the most part I've always done the best I could at the time, and I've always followed my heart in the moment, for better or worse.

Question:
What are your goals for the year?

Gunnar:
Personally, to know the love relationship I'm in is THE right one for me, Professionally, to get our song Just Once More into the hearts and minds of people the world over, and spiritually to investigate the Sacred Order of the Knights Templar and perhaps be initiated. More on that later. :)
