Just saw the Nelsons in Freeport
Maine in a great outdoor concert. Definitely a class act, especially since
they spent hours afterwards signing autographs and posing for pictures
with fans. Thank you for a great evening.

We were on the cruise ship Freedom
of The Seas, end of May, first of June 2007. This was the first time
we had seen the Nelson brothers perform. We really enjoyed listening
to them play Ricky's music as well as some tunes of their own. Very
talented young men! I am sure their dad is smiling down at them!

The Nelson Conversion Factor is alive
and well. My husband and I were at the Flushing Summerfest last night.
I haven't seen Nelson perform live since I was about 13, when they played
with Lynch Mob and Cinderella at
the Palace in Detroit; my husband
has never seen them play and was a bit skeptical about going last night.
However, he loved last nights performace and is even talking about driving
to Gaylord for the concert
there next month. They had
a lot of energy and really delivered an awesome live performance.
They played all of their hits off "After the Rain" as well as Rick's most
beloved tunes. And has Matthew put it, quoting his father's famous
lyrics, "if memories were all I played I'd rather drive a truck," they
played some material off the new album. The music was incredible.
I hope we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more of
Matthew and Gunnar in the immediate
future.

I wanted To thank you for the Most
Awesome show Ever! You Two Rocked the fair grounds! I saw you at DTE when
you played with Styx and Peter Frampton that was my first Nelson Concert
and I had won Tickets a backstage pass then and it blew me away then But
my gosh You really Touched our crowd. Thank you! And
Thank you for Coming to Michigan.

If I can get over being love struck
and carry on with life........the Disney Flower Power show was a thrill. They
were great when their hits came out they are greater today.Including their
fathers songs seemed to get the older people remembering ,tapping their
feet and smiling-it was a pleasure to see all age groups pleased. That alone
takes talent. Thank you for brightening my week and may this feeling never
end.

Last night we had the distinct pleasure
to see the Nelson's at Epcot here in Orlando, Florida. We enjoyed
their show so much that we stayed for two shows. We had been on a
cruise in March of this year and saw an ad for them on Royal Carribean
for one of their shows on one of their ships, so we knew that when they
came to Orlando we would definetly go see them. They are very talented
and great performers. The show featured both their songs and their Dads,
it was touching them performing on Ricky's birthday here in Orlando, they
did HIM PROUD. I am 59 years old and remember the songs of their Dad well,
but their songs are wonderful, they can not only sing and play the guitar
they are a credit to their past family members. They have the same baby
faces as their Dad did. We have sons born in 1966 and 1968 and a
daughter born in 1974 so we can relate to
them and their great music.
We wish them luck and prosperity in all that they do. Are they going
to be on another Royal Carribbean cruise ship anytime soon, if so keep
us posted, we would book just to see them again. Fondly Pat and Ed Sousa
and Debbie and Tony Culp the friends we went to the show with.

My husband and I attended the concert
at Mohegan Sun tonight. It was an awesome concert. We heard songs
that we had forgotten about and new songs that will be long remembered.
The music touched our soul. The song Just Once More had more significance
than you will ever know. There was one song they sang as a tribute to 1991.
The summer of 1991 was a summer not to be forgotten in our lives, and the
music brought back many memories - fond memories as well as memories that
we would rather not remember. We will definitely be attending future
concerts.

We just recently saw the
guys on the "Sea of Enchantment" cruise ship in March 2007. This was our
1st time in many years that we heard the guys sing. I remember the long
blonde locks, and some songs they recorded, but
had been a long time since I'd heard
them again. I have to say that I really enjoyed their show, we purchased
the CD and got autographs with the very humble gentlemen. I have to say
that your song "Just Once More" has
hit our home hard. I could go relate
to the song with the loss of my parents, what a tribute you gave your dad.
My daughter has a love for singing, and on our 1500 mile ride home from
the cruise your songs were ringing out. My daughter and neice loved harmonizing
to "just once more" and have it done pretty good. I have to admit as soon
as we got home we bought your Greatest hits CD and play it over and over.
We'd love to see your show again, so if you ever get to Iowa we surely
will be there. Thanks for a memorable evening!
John B.
We were pleasantly surprised
to find out that the Nelson brothers were on our cruise as one of our shows.
Wow!!!!! We all really enjoyed both of the shows they put on. We really
enjoyed Matthew explaining about their family and about songs from
themselves and their father. They are great and I hope they will be
on our next cruise! Thank you both for being on The Enchantment of the
Seas
Theresa
My husband Michael and I
just got back from a cruise March 17th 2007 and Matthew and Gunner were
there to do a concert . It was such a refreshing concert to hear the mix
of their Dads music and theirs together. It was awsome . They are two really
down to earth nice gentlemen. Way to go guys . Thank you for such a wonderful
treat your Dad would be proud!!!!

I cruised on Mariner of
the Seas 21st Jan - 4th Feb 2007, and was delighted to see the Nelson Bros
both weeks. I had heard of their father, but not of them. WOW, they were
brilliant. Superb music and enterainment, they stole the award for "Show
of the Fortnight" And what gracious guys as well, it was no chore to have
their pics taken with any guest that wanted it. All I can say is that I
am a convert and hope I can get to see them again in the future. Well done
guys, you're the best.

Kristen
Being in my 30's, I have
been a Nelson fan for years. I'm the type of person who is more interested
in the lyrics to songs then the music, and because of that your song "After
the Rain" helped me through a troubled time. Seeing you perform on
the cruise in January 2007 with Ben was a real treat for me. What
was even better was seeing how wonderful you guys really were, meeting
fans, signing autographs, just joining in and playing with the guy at the
bar, and really having a good time with us. You can really tell when
people sing and play from the heart, and enjoy what they do, and you guys
definitely did! I was so impressed. Thank you for making my
cruise even better! I hope you plan on playing in Syracuse NY soon!

The Nelson Brothers never
fail to put on a wonderful show. The American Music Theatre in Lancaster,
PA was filled with fans of all ages. Matthew and Gunnar performed a most
heart felt tribute to their father and
his music. At the same time
they played their greatest hits. They seemed to have such a great time
on stage. Afterwards, they stayed and signed every thing and posed for
picture after picture. It was a late
night. Never once did they lose
their smiles or their appreciation for their fans. No one treats their
fans better !
We were lucky to have front row
seats and both my mother (62) and my daughter (9) had a tremendous time.
I sat there dancing in my seat and
singing every song. I couldn't have asked for a better night. I hope
you come back very soon to PA ! I could use a concert like that every month
to raise my spirits. Thank You ! ! !
Stacy
I had the opportunity of
a lifetime to watch the Nelson's perform at the American Music Theater
in Lancaster, PA on February 9th 2007. What an amazing tribute to their
father! I love the brothers music ever since 1990
when their top hit "Love and Affection"
was played! The brothers sound just like their father. Both Matthew and
Gunner were so down to earth and friendly to the audience and their fans!
After the show, I had the
opportunity to meet both Matthew
and Gunner! I had the chance to talk with them and have my picture taken
with the brothers! It was so nice to see two great guys spend so as much
time as the fans needed to meet them and share stories. I would love to
see them again come back to Pennsylvania!
What a memory to last a lifetime!!
George
Like the two previous reviews
my wife and I saw the two of you for the first time on the Mariner of The
Sea January 07. If I closed my eyes I could hear Rick Nelson singing. Your
own music was just great and I really liked Cross My Broken Heart. The
next day out on the Promenade deck I am sure you made some fans, I know
we are. You guys were so nice to the people wanting a autograph, to talk,
or get a picture. Hope to see you again when you come to the Mohegan Sun.
God Bless you guys
Trac
Great concert on the Royal
Caribbean in January! You guys have not changed at all, except that
you entertain ALL ages now.. I am from the HS class of 1986 and your songs
brought me back!! Thanks!
Angela
My husband and I had the
great pleasure of cruising with The Nelson Brothers this January.
Not only was their performance incredible, they had a friend along who
completed the show with superb guitar talent. They were gracious
to the cruise musicians who performed with them. They even gave us an extra
acoustic set the next day which was amazing. You guys are not only
stellar musicians, but great guys as well, and your presence on the ship
made this a vacation which will hold a special placein our memories for
years.....all that an an Ellen impersonation too!
Ron & Becky
I was on the cruise ship
Mariner of the seas 1/28 - 2-4 2007 and saw the twins for the first time
ever. I was not familiar with their music or even their renditions of their
father's music. What an incredible show
they put on. The next day they performed
a more impersonal show on the promenade and showcased even more of their
incredible talent. The pride they have in their family is refreshing and
a class act. I highly
recommend seeing these guys any
chance you get. They are an incredible act and loaded with class and are
very down to earth. Their interaction with the audience is a true
testement of how much they care about their fans.Thank you for the opportunity
to meet you and get our pictures taken withyou.
Colleen
great in concert, show's
real tight, lots of fun!!!!
"Friend"
We were at Mohegan Sun last
night and caught your show. You were fantastic! We ended up
watching the whole show and gambling just a little afterwards. You
were definitely worth the trip and will be back to see you on April 7th.
John & Dana
WE SEEN MATTHEW AND GUNNER
PERFORM ON THE MARINER OF THE SEAS LAST MONTH. THEY WERE WONDERFUL. WE
BOUGHT THE CD, THEY SIGNED IT AND WE HAD OUR PICTURE TAKEN WITH THEM. THEY
STAYED AFTER BOTH SHOWS TO MEET ALL THE FANS AND SIGH AUTOGRAPHS. WHAT
A CLASS ACT THEY ARE, I AM SURE THEIR FATHER IS SO PROUD OF THEM....MOM
TOO...!
Linda S.
They performed at the legendary
Surf Ballroom last night. They gave a great performance and performed the
traditional Ricky Nelson greats we all remember. Thank you for returning
to North Iowa on the coldest
weekend of the year!!
Lance
I saw the Nelson brothers
at sea on the Mariner in January '07 and I have to admit, it was fantastic.
I was a high school kid when Nelson had the MTV hits in the early 90's
so I remember those songs with
affection, no pun intended.
I also saw Rick Nelson play with my dad as a kid in the early 80's, my
dad was a big fan so I grew up with the Rick Nelson standards. Matt
and Gunnar seem to be truly having fun playing the
set that ranges from their Dad's
hits to their own hits to their new music. I caught the first show
on the Mariner and liked it so much I went back for the second show later
that night. Absolutely great stuff! They
seem to be having a great time playing
the music and have great energy. Iwill catch them live again if I
have the opportunity.
Judy
I seen the Nelsons last
week on the ship last week.01-25-07. I was in amazed at there performances.
They are two of the nicest peopel I have ever meet,(Did I metion good looking). They
put on a GREAT show. They
are two down to earth people who
have there act together. It was also nice to meet Ben, there other guitarist
he is a wonderful performer also.Thank you for putting on a fantastic show.
Stay down to earth it's nice to see
celebrities who can stay that way.
Darren R.
I saw the Brothers Nelson
in Jacksonville, Fl on January 19, 2007. I went not knowing what to expect
and found an exceptional show. I have been more of a Rick Nelson fan and
was pleasantly surprised by the vocal abilities of his sons. Wow! The harmonies
are tremendous! It was great to see real musicians singing and playing
for real, no backing tracks, no recorded help. Thanks for working so hard
to keep Rick Nelson's music alive and for being so good no one can say
you are riding the coattails of your famous name. The fact you graciously
signed autographs and hung out is pretty incredible as well. You guys better
get busy having some kids to carry on the family business...
Lana
Just
saw you both on the Mariner of the Seas. What a wonderful surprise!!
What a tremendous show you put on. You both are truely talented artists.
Some concerts you go to, the artists sometimes are just not that great
live. No one could ever say that about the two of you. Unbelievable
show! We even got a special bonus show the following day. It
was also great how you told personal stories and were so down to earth,
which made the show even better. You could really feel the love for
your father. Thanks for the tremendous shows guys. Can't wait
to see you again.
Ron G.
I
saw The Nelsons, Matthew and Gunnar, somewhere between the Gulf of Mexico
and the Caribbean on the way to Jamaica aboard the Royal Caribbean Lines
"Rhapsody of the Seas". The performed a concert in the big theatre, did
a acoustic set in the ship's central atrium and dropped the the late-night
karaoke bar. They also greeted fans and signed albums, took photos with
guests and were in general totally professional and generous with their
time. I was able to speak with Matthew and tell him about how I had known
his father, Rick Nelson, back in 1956 and 57 when he was growing from "Little
Ricky" into a teen recording star. I urge everyone to see The Nelsons if
you get the chance. They put on a great show.
Bill H.
Matt
and Gunnar in Jacksonville 1/19/07 were spectacular. Their dad's
first record (I'm Walkin' and Teenager's Romance) was the first record
I ever bought as a kid. Their renditions of I'm Walkin', Stood Up,
and many others, were just terrific. For me it was a deep nostalgia
rush, and a tremendous display of love and respect for their Dad and for
the fans. They were so personal and sincere and stayed around in
the lobby to meet and greet, autograph and pose for photos, including a
young teenager who came with his dad and who was blind and wanted a photo
of them with him. He had heard of their dad, but not the Nelson Twins!
"Just Once More" is such a moving song, obviously about their love for
their pop. This was probably the best concert I've ever attended.
The small crowd in the old Florida Theater got a real treat from these
professionals with their hot, tight band.
Sissie
I was very fortunate to
see the Nelson Brothers on the Royal Carribbean cruise on Jan. 9th...They
were just amazing, the show and how they were so personable to everyone...We
were on the same tender in the Cayman Islands and when they left...it was
like saying "Bye" to wonderful friends..Good luck and some day I hope you
can make it to San Antonio, Texas...Will be there!!!!
Andy E.
You can't believe how excited
I was to be on The Freedom Of The Seas (RCL) and see Matthew & Gun
show. They are the greatest. I can't believe how much they
have matured!! The songs were just great how they combine their dad's
music with their own. We are going on the Mariner OfThe Seas (1/21)
and have been told they will be there. What a great pleasure to be
able to see them again. Keep on coming back on the ships so we can
get to see you.
Kara
My family saw Nelson on
Voyager of the Seas December 16-22, 2006 show. They were awesome.
I listened to their music in the 90's in my college days. I was not
familiar with their father's music until this show. Now I listen
to their CD of his music almost every day. Their music is great.
The "supposed to be acoustic" show was great also. (Gunnar forgot his acoustic
guitar)! The way they meet the fans afterward is remarkable.
There were tons of people lined up to see them, but they took their time
to meet the people in wheelchairs in the crowd & have pictures with
them first. Regardless of how long the line was, they did not rush
anyone. Awesome musicians & seemingly down to earth people.
"Strange" Dave
Got to see Nelson last week
on the ROYAL CARRIBEAN VOYAGER OF THE SEAS. These two really know how to
put on a great show. Both looking trim and fit, the boys started off their
show with an interesting video retrospective on their family's history
in music. Nothing but smiles, Matthew Nelson served as the night's emcee,
relaying old stories about his late father RICK NELSON, and conveying new
tales about being offered to play bass for Avril Lavigne and Gunnar's offer
to sing lead with Foreigner. "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin Man" stood
out as real crowd pleasers, but it was when the duo went into "Garden Party"
that got the audience really going. Matthew's explanation of how his Dad
came about writing that song from the infamous Madison Sqaure Garden incident
was an absolute joy. The twins harmonized and played guitars all night
with Matthew on acoustic and Gunnar on electric. I also got to see them
do an actousic only show as a duo the following day on the promenade. They
showcased material off their new c.d. and the audience was singing along
with the catchy phrass by the end of each new tune. The harmonies produced
between these two boys combined with their stellar stage presence does
real justice to their late father's music. Surely, THE NELSON BROTHERS
have continued their father's legacy with the same amount of grace, enthusiasm,
and talent as their father. I would love to see the boys continue moving
forward into more of a singer/songwriter country-esque genre. The future
is very bright for Nelson.

I just returned from a New
Year's cruise on the Royal Carribean ship, Empress of the Sea. The
highlight of the cruise was being entertained by Matthew and Gunnar.
Being a fan of Ricky Nelson, I loved it! Not only was the music from
their Dad's hits great, but the songs that they wrote and performed were
just terrific as well. Afterwards, we got to meet them and take pictures.
Such nice guys! I feel privileged to have seen them in concert and will
again when they come to the D.C. area.
Karen W.
Just got back from my cruise
aboard Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas where the featured entertainers
on New Year's Day was none other than....NELSON! Great show
that brought back all those memories from when they had hair "down to there"
:-) Thanks to Matthew & Gunnar for posing with me for a fan picture...it
was like a dream come true! ~ Best wishes for a great 2007 ~
Shirley
I SAW MATTHEW & GUNNAR
WHILE CRUISING ON THE FREEDOM OF THE SEAS IN NOV/DEC OF 2006. I CANNOT
SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I AM A BIG FAN OF THEIR DAD,
AND NOW OF THEM. I AM ONLY SORRY THAT I GOT SICK ON THAT TRIP & JUST
COULD NOT MAKE IT TO GET THEIR CD & AUTOGRAPHS, I HOPE THEY WILL BE
APPEARING NEAR ME, MONTCLAIR,CA., SOON SO I CAN SEE THEM AGAIN & GET
THEIR AUTOGRAPHS & MAYBE A PICTURE. AGAIN, THEY ARE
AWESOME!!!!!! IN EVERY WAY.
Charlene
