*Flyer! -  Pass out flyers at your local school, job, college campus, clubs, music stores and at concerts! You can download flyers here. Print some up and go have fun! Take a picture and send it to us, show others on the team you're hard at work helping Matt and Gun! We will post your photo in our team gallery.

At-Home Things to do that will help Matt and Gun!

* Design! Like to create things? We are always in need of fresh ideas for team flyers. Send your creations to us! Take your ideas and include them as attachments in your emails to let others know about the guys and the street team!

* Submit Ideas! Use our suggestion box located here. Tell us about festivals or venues in your area that might be a cool place for NELSON to play! Tell us about your radio station or local papers. Let's get a buzz, unlike no other, going for the guys! Give us YOUR feedback and earn points towards cool prizes!

On-Line  Things to do that will help Matt and Gun!

*Email a request letter to your local radio station. Tell them you want to hear NELSON! (BCC [blind carbon-copy] your email to Nelson Street Team to earn points!)

* Email requests to TV shows (don't forget MTV and VH1!) to have the Nelsons as featured guests. 

*Posting - On other bands/interests message boards and chatrooms. This is most effective if you are already a member. Then it's not considered spamming.
 

Take the idea and incorporate your own words and feelings into it. Don't forget to touch on key points such as:

*Telling the radio station/TV show or magazine you are a big fan of their show/station or publication

*Share a few things about who Matthew and Gunnar are and what they have done

*Tell the party you are writing how you feel it would be not only a benefit for them to feature the guys, as it will expand their listener/reader/viewer base, but that it will also continue to keep you a happy and satisfied consumer.

For Example-

Dear Radio Station,

I am a big fan of your talk show and listen to your station everyday. I think you have a great variety of subjects and guests on your program and therefore am writing this letter to make a request for a particular guest on your show. 

The guests I am referring to are the twin sons of Ricky Nelson, Matthew and Gunnar. NELSON launched a very successful rock album in 1991 called "After the Rain" that achieved triple platinum success. After 15 years NELSON is back on tour playing all across the U.S.A. with special guest artists and NEW music.

I would be elated as a listener if you would consider having them as guests on your show. It would be GREAT for fans to know that NELSON is back!!!
